Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about personal injury cases
How much does a consultation cost?
Nothing. Consultations are always free and there is no obligation to hire us.
How do you get paid?
We work on a contingency fee. You pay no fees or costs unless we take your case and recover for you.
What should I do after an accident?
Get medical care first. Then keep any photos, the police or incident report number, medical records and bills, and the other party’s insurance information. Avoid giving recorded statements to the other side’s insurance company before you speak with a lawyer.
How long do I have to bring a claim?
Every claim has a legal deadline, and in Florida many negligence claims must be filed within two years. Deadlines depend on the facts of your case, so it is best to speak with an attorney as soon as you can.
What kinds of cases do you handle?
Car, truck and motorcycle crashes, slip and fall and premises cases, dog bites, wrongful death and other serious injury claims. See all of our practice areas.
Will I work directly with an attorney?
Yes. As a boutique firm, every client works directly with their attorney from start to finish.
Does contacting you make you my lawyer?
No. Contacting us or submitting our form does not create an attorney-client relationship. That only happens once we agree in writing to represent you.
